To fulfill the commission of Christ, to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God as a witness unto all nations and to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. This constitutes the primary goals of the church and its leaders.
God is the supreme creator and sustainer of the entire universe who is eternal, all present, and all powerful. That Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of God and the Son of man. That he is the Messiah, was resurrected and ascended to heaven to become our Lord and will return to earth to establish the Kingdom of God. That (The Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are as one and they are Omnipotent, Omnipresent and part of the Holy Trinity. That the entire Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God which contains His plan of salvation and that the penalty for sin is death, but salvation is the means by which God saves mankind from sin so that he may be given eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
PREFERRED LEADERSHIP STYLE
Although I will take action if I believe that is needed, I seek to inspire & encourage lay members to make Godly decisions & take action according to the word of God.
New Programs Decisions
I will look at how each program would benefit the church as a whole and work with the leaders taking into consideration how well it meets the desires and needs of our members and prospective members.
Preferred Style for Introducing Changes
My method regarding the above is to keep things functioning smoothly by introducing changes according to need and the capability of the church. The implementation of these changes will be discussed with leaders and every consideration will be given to the overall desire of the congregation.
Preferred Style on Future Growth
To regularly discuss, define and redefine the congregation's future with regards to its needs and direction.
Preferred Style on Congregational Changes
In an effort to mold the word of God into the heart of all mankind, I feel it is essential that leaders within the church be innovative in such things as different worship and music styles which can save a soul and provide a meaningful connection between the lost sinner and Christ.
My envision is an biblical base church that excels in producing generations of disciples and Christian workers from a diversity of nationalities through the threefold objective of exaltation of Jesus Christ, edification of believers, and evangelization of the local community with the word of God.
It is my goal that every member be discipled into spiritual maturity and becomes disciple-makers of Jesus Christ through Bible studies, prayer groups, fellowship, seminars, and retreats.
To provide an environment of worship that invokes a profound and life-transforming encounter with Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
To reach out to those within the surrounding communities that are hurting, depressed, frustrated, sick and in need to show them God’s love and provide a spiritual and uplifting understand that God will accept and help them feel a new spirit of hope through the forgiveness of sins.
To bring about a rebirth of love for thy neighbor and raise a renewed spirit of trust in others and encourage the church as a whole to love each other as children of God who first love us.
To teach every member to read and obey the Word of God, and instruct our leaders and co-workers to love the Lord devotedly, serve Him faithfully, and care for others unselfishly.
To minister to the particular needs of the leaders and co-workers and their families to enhance their continued devotion and faithfulness to the Lord.
Once you receive the gift of salvation, every member is equipped for a significant gift of ministry. It is the mission of the church to help them discover their gifts and talents given by God to all and to empowered them to develop this gift and share with others for the glory of God.
Our vision is to worship God in truth and in spirit and leading people into the presence of God and in adoration, create an atmosphere of openness to the Holy Spirit that will break bondage, change hearts, and bring a release of God's anointing. To support, motivate, train and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, and humility.
The institution of Marriage is one of the greatest gifts of God. It is a covenant where we learn to honor Him as the only true and righteous God through our total devotion to each other until we transcend to be with him forever. The Married Couples Ministry serves God through serving other married couples and by serving as an example of God's will for marriage. Where through biblical teaching, spiritual lessons, books and instructions, you learn how to have a joyful relationship that includes good communication, intimacy, a security of understanding, peace and most of all love.
DIVORCE (Transitional Ministry)
The slogan: "The family that prays together, stays together" is well known however, the rate of Christian marriages ending in divorce is climbing to those equal to and in some cases higher than those of other faiths and non-believers. It is not God’s will that we would end the covenant of marriage but sadly many do and it is the moral and spiritual obligation of the church to aid those within this transitional stage.
Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
The mission is to reach, teach, mentor and empower the women of our church through the word of God. Women are the backbone of the church and provide valuable resources to the church and its parishioners and are a vital part of any ongoing ministry within the church. With providing resources such as evangelism, prayer, bible study, local missions, covenant team ministries such as benevolence, prison outreach, ministry to both young girls and senior adults, fund-raising, printed resource materials, and social issues that affect women and their families, the need for this ministry is crucial to the foundation of the church.
"The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out." -- Proverbs 10:9
It is a sad reality that there are more women in church than men. As a former prison ministry teacher, the prevailing hindrances was that most of the men within the prisons never had another Godly man around to teach them how to be the man God created them to be. I plan to reverse that trend.
God has given me a passion and an anointing power to reach the spirit of my brothers and I plan to destroy the power satan has over them and bring them to their rightful place as leaders. My mission again is to reach, teach, mentor and encourage the men of our church and empower them to spread God's word with the passion of Christ. They will be the power source of our church and that power will bring more men from the streets, from sin and false teachings to Christ where they belong.
